Texas

Texas was one of those unexpected chapters that left a lasting mark. I spent a short time living in Sanger, a small town near Denton, a city in North Texas, about 40 miles northwest of Dallas. During this time, I had the opportunity to visit Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, and even Austin. We attended Supercross at AT&T Stadium, a baseball game at Globe Life Field, and saw live music at Texas Live. We journeyed up to the top of the Reunion Tower observation deck and saw the bulls and a rodeo at the Stockyards. We ate our fair share of BBQ and tried breakfast tacos. We toured the Texas Capitol and paddle boarded beneath the bats at the Congress Avenue Bridge. We packed so much in during our time here, and yet, the state is huge, and there is so much more on my list to explore someday.
